Striking, honest and very sensual, the 2017 Pirelli Calendar features some of the most renowned actresses from Hollywood.
The 2017 Pirelli Calendar is finally out and this new edition has some of the most renowned actresses, hand-picked by photographer Peter Lindbergh, who are photographed in minimal makeup and (breaking away from the usual norm) are fully clothed.
This year’s calendar features Penelope Cruz, Jessica Chastain, Nicole Kidman, Rooney Mara, Julianne Moore, Lupita Nyong’o, Uma Thurman, Kate Winslet, Robin Wright, Zhang Ziyi and Helen Mirren among others.
Peter Lindbergh, who believes that the women he selected are the most talented in the world, chose to focus on real beauty, without any form of digital manipulation, enhancement and even make-up, to convey his idea of natural beauty and femininity. And the result is pretty terrific because the images are striking, honest and very sensual.
