The much-awaited trailer of Rangoon is finally out and Kangana Ranaut steals the show, yet again.

An intense and passionate period drama, set against the backdrop of World War II, Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon stars Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles. While Kangana Ranaut plays a popular film actress called Miss Julia, loosely based on Fearless Nadia, Saif Ali Khan plays the role of a producer in this period drama.

The story revolves around the time when Julia (Kangana) is sent to Burma during the war to motivate soldiers, where she comes across Shahid Kapoor, who is a war soldier. And that’s the beginning of a love triangle filled with passion, emotion, jealously, rage, and deceit. 

Vishal Bharadwaj, who has previously worked with Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor is known to extract the best out of all their actors and we’re hoping Rangoon is no different. And the best bit about the 3 minute 20 second trailer is the fact that it will transport you back to the 1940s across the mucky battlefield grounds of Burma and the glitz and the glamour of Bombay (then).

The film hits theatres on 24^th February, 2017.
