Bollywood’s leading lady is to appear in the next installation of Vin Diesel’s XXX
It has been confirmed that Deepika Padukone will be our next export to Hollywood. The actress posted an image on Instagram recently with the logo from the XXX franchise appearing in the backdrop as she appeared to embrace what looked like Vin Diesel himself.
Naturally people wondered if this really was the real Vin Diesel. At which point Vin Diesel himself posted this image on his instagram page, confirming the rumours and sending fans into a tizzy.
So Deepika will indeed be appearing in the segment of the upcoming film although the details about her role aren’t very clear. If recent history is anything to go by, Bollywood stars don’t seem to get the most flattering roles in Hollywood blockbusters, but given that Deepika is B-town’s ‘It’ girl at the moment, we’re hoping she changes the trend and does something memorable in the film. Regardless of the screen time she might get out of this, there’s no denying that Padukone is an international star in the making.
