Honestly, the first trailer of Bajirao Mastani (it has just one line of dialogue) looks like Bhansali’s Devdas – but with the characters being accomplished swordfighters, of course. Also, major throwbacks to Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Ram-Leela happening.

There is the stoic king, his first love and the fiesty femme fatale – the woman-he-should-not-fall-in-love-with.
