Do you suffer from Cenosillicaphobia?

Here are some fun facts about beer you never knew

Cenosillicaphobia is the fear of an empty beer glass. Yes, that’s a real thing. And, other than guzzling the holy amber during summers (and winters – no one can stop a beer lover), mankind has used it to wash hair, as a stain remover and of course, for culinary purposes.

Here are some shocking facts about beer we bet you didn’t know:

1. Egyptian pharaohs respected beer so much that they made it their national currency.

2. The gods seem to have happily accepted the ale – the Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew temple in Thailand is made up of over a million empty beer bottles. Also..

3. In 1814, London was flooded with beer after about 388,000 gallons of beer flowed out of a ruptured vat.

4. Scientist Niels Bohr enjoyed a lifetime supply of beer piped into his house after he won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1922. Yes, the good life.

5. Vikings believed that a giant goat whose udders provided an endless supply of beer was waiting for them in Valhalla (Viking Heaven).
