Starting to miss good old, traditional romantic comedies amidst all the superheroes that crowd your weekend? Well, it’s good and old-fashioned Captain America Chris Evans to the rescue with his new rom-com Playing It Cool. Chris Evans plays the Narrator – a Hollywood scriptwriter who wishes to write about action movies but instead is required by his agent (Anthony Mackie from Captain America 2) to write romantic comedies.

Romance is a sore subject with the Narrator who doesn’t quite believe in love and has a hard time committing himself to romantic relationships, until he meets Her. Played by Michelle Monaghan (Mission Impossible III, True Detective) Her is the evidently the woman of his dreams, who, however, happens to be engaged. We won’t give the rest away, suffice it to say that Chris Evans must find more persuasive methods to win her over than through good looks and sincerity.
