NH7 Weekender looks set to retain its ‘India’s happiest music festival tag’ with a promising line-up across five editions

Line-ups for the 5 editions of Bacardi NH7 Weekender were finally announced on August 5, and expectedly, they hogged the limelight on Twitter. OML’s manner of making the announcements was painfully slow (for over six hours, there were announcements one at a time, every few minutes) but also genius (they got all sorts of Twitterati – musicians, media persons, aficionados and a bunch of comedians to make the big reveals).

It all kicked off with stand-up comic Rohan Joshi revealing that British DJ-producer Mark Ronson would headline Pune, Delhi and Bengaluru editions. Other big names like AR Rahman and Flying Lotus will also perform at these three editions, while rockers Megadeth, Bob Marley’s band The Wailers and Kailash Kher’s Kailasa will be top draw at the Kolkata and inaugural Shillong editions. Check out the entire line-up.
