After a disappointing January and February, things might be looking up for Bollywood lovers in March

The last two months have not been too memorable for the industry. Remember MSG and Roy? Yeah, such disasters happened. Films like Shamitabh created quite a buzz and faded out with mixed reviews. Other releases, such as Tevar, Dolly Ki Doli and Hawaizaada have thankfully been erased from our memories. But worry not. Bollywood’s March diary looks impressive and we hope they make up for all that we have been put through since the year started.

Here is what you will be watching in March:

Coffee Bloom

This film premiered at MAMI last year to rave reviews. Directed by Manu Warrier and starring Arjun Mathur, the film revolves around a young man’s journey of love gone wrong amidst idyllic Indian coffee plantations. An indie project that is finally seeing the light of day, this is encouraging for other small-budget film-makers.

Tigers

This Emraan Hashmi-starrer premiered in the Contemporary World Cinema section at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and wowed critics and audiences alike. The film is based on a real life story of a salesman working in Pakistan’s corrupt pharmaceutical industry and how he discovers shocking truths within the system. Also, remember No Man’s Land, the film that defeated Lagaan at the Oscars? The director of the film, Danis Tanovic, is directing Tigers.

NH10

The Anushka Sharma-Neil Bhoopalam starring NH10, is the story of a young couple on a road trip gone wrong. Gritty, violent and hard-hitting, NH10, directed by Navdeep Singh, is one of the year’s most anticipated films. The film was slated to release on 6th March, 2015, however due to censoring problems with the Central Board, it is now releasing on 13th March, 2015.

Hunterrr

This much-awaited sex-comedy is already making waves with its colourful and interesting poster art and quirky teaser videos. It revolves around an unassuming sex addict and his lustful journey through life.
