OUR
VERY OWN MS MOSS
 A
year and a half ago, Tamara Moss was an accent coach
to call centre aspirants at a BPO unit in Bangalore.
It was a job she, of course, hated. And then, ace
photographer Prabuddha Dasgupta—somebody give
him an award!—discovered this 5’10”
stunner of Indo-Dutch parentage.
What happened next was exactly what would happen
to somebody with her kind of well-chiselled face
and a very impressive bod. Moss burst onto the modelling
scene last year, appearing in not one but two prestigious
calendars – the Taj Group of Hotels annual
calendar and the Kingfisher 2008 calendar.
Having walked the ramp for numerous top Indian designers
and as well as for the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion
Week, Moss has also appeared in the print campaign
of designer JJ Valaya and flirted with the small
screen in a Lakmé TV commercial. Currently
the brand ambassador for the clothing brand Chemistry,
this long-limbed siren has what it takes to make
a mark—that is if she hasn’t made one
already.
Never one to take herself too seriously, Moss’
philosophy is simple: “Having a positive,
fun attitude is what is most important to me and
the rest will just follow.”
