The Invincibles in India

Check out our interview with ex-Arsenal players Ray Parlour and Sol Campbell, who visited the city for a promotional event

In the 2003-04 season of the English Premier League, Arsenal made history by going unbeaten, recording 26 wins and 12 draws. Ray Parlour and Sol Campbell, two members of that squad, which came to be known as ‘The Invincibles’, were in Mumbai on July 21 as part of Puma’s home and away kit launch for the 2015-16 football season.

The event also involved the first-ever Asia screening of the Invincibles documentary that is based on the club’s dream season. Two groups of 500+ fans, chanting the footballers’ names and decked out in their Arsenal jerseys, scarves and caps packed Mumbai’s Mehboob Studio, the venue for the event.

We caught up with Parlour and Campbell on the sidelines, asking them about Indian football, their predictions for the upcoming EPL season and more.
