On his collection

 

“My menswear collection is versatile. Take a look at my jackets and you will realize how light they are; they can be easily worn in summers as the fabrics are breathable with thin or no lining and the colours are fun. For this collection, I have incorporated a lot of digital printing and a bit of embroidery on the shirts. For example, digital printed or embroidered collar with a plain shirt gives a nice contrasting effect.”

 

On introducing accessories for the first time

 

“This is the first time I’ve made bags and wallets. What’s special about it is that you usually see that the inside of a bag has fabric linings. I have used leather inside and out. I’ve also kept the branding minimal. You will find bags and wallets, for both men and women, made out of a patchwork of pony skin and leather. Right now, you can only get them at my store here.”

 

On the next big thing this season

 

My current favourite are jogger pants. They are actually inspired by track pants, but I’ve given them a new look, which looks formal and stylish but are really comfortable. I once wore it at a party with a jacket over it and got a lot of attention due to the pants. So I decided to make more of these. They are ideal for summers.”
