Model Neelam Gill made headlines when she walked the ramp for Burberry in 2013, and became the first Indian-origin woman to feature in the luxury brand’s campaign the following year. Later, she added another feather to her cap when Abercrombie & Fitch signed her up as the face of the brand.

Only 21 years of age, Neelam signed up with a modelling agency at only 14, and has bagged big ticket ramp shows in recent time. She walked for Kanye West at his Yeezy show, and apparently, former One Direction star Zayn Malik was once smitten by her. It’s not hard to see why. Spent my day in NYC shooting with the sweetest team for @Abercrombie! Sometimes it’s good to take a step back and reflect on life… Just a few years ago I had a part time job in retail working on the Hollister shop floor! I would get paid £25 for a 5 hour shift and I worked my ass off! I spent two years working for that company whilst I was still studying in school and I’m so grateful that now I’m being flown out to NYC to shoot for them!!!
