Pininfarina, the legendary Italian design firm, might just be bought by Mahindra&Mahindra, according to a report in the Financial Express
Founded in 1930, the Italian design firm Pininfarina is responsible for some of the most beautiful and iconic cars in automotive history, such as the Ferrari Testarossa, F40 and Enzo, the Alfa Romeo Spider and the Maserati GranTurismo. It’s been struggling financially for the last few years, and wouldn’t be the first Italian company to be sold to a foreign firm in the recent past.
