It’s been a bit of a bumpy journey for Ferrari in India over the last few years, with its first foray into the country being a damp squib, especially in terms of the after sales experience. The legendary Italian sportscar maker is trying its hand in India again, on its own steam (a distributor had been appointed the previous time), and it has promised that customer care will be its top priority, with existing owners being brought into the fold.

At the launch event was Ferrari’s most affordable and top-selling model, the California T. This is a front-engined grand tourer, with a 552bhp, 3.9-litre bi-turbo V8 engine; its asking price is Rs 3.45 crore, ex-showroom. The entire Ferrari range has also been made available, so with deep enough pockets, you can buy the California T, the 488 GTB, the 458 Spider and Speciale and the F12 Berlinetta, for between Rs 3.45 crore and Rs 4.87 crore, ex-showroom.
