The Freelander 2 successor is to be launched on September 2
Land Rover dealers across the country have opened bookings for the soon to be launched Land Rover Discovery Sport, for a token sum of Rs 5 lakh. The off-roader replaces the much loved Land Rover Freelander 2 and is expected to be priced in the sub Rs 55 lakh range, competing directly with the likes of the Audi Q5, Volvo XC60 and the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLE.
The SUV was unveiled around a year ago, and takes its styling cues from the latest Range Rover series, offering a more affordable option for Land Rover aspirants. Check out our review of the car as driven across the frosty Icelandic landscape.
