Open world games have always meant to propagate exploration in their games, but Ubisoft is taking it to a whole other level. One of the gaming studio’s most popular games, Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey, will offer players the Discovery Tour for no extra cost.

The Discovery Tour was first introduced in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Ubisoft spent years and put in a lot of work developing a realistic and historically accurate depiction of Egypt. They did the same for the next iteration in the franchise which followed Odyssey — Assassin’s Creed Origins — which let players explore ancient Greece.

“The idea is to be able to share the entire world, without heavy narrative or fight controls that would be a barrier,” creative director Jean Guesdon said of the Origins Discovery Tour in its launch trailer. “We’ll just let you enjoy the entire world, but keeping the interactivity of the game, which is, I think, very important for such a tool.”

So, what are you waiting for? Get exploring.
