Burberry is the latest brand to introduce its own face masks.
With a combination of its signature check pattern along with antimicrobial technology, the masks are made from revalued fabric, and are available in either “Archive Beige” or “Pale Blue” versions of the label’s Vintage check.
It provides Particle Filtration Efficiency, and the material has been upgraded using antimicrobial technology. Both masks come along with a matching travel pouch, which also features the antimicrobial technology.
The brand also claimed that the masks are sustainable as they are made from what described as “revalued” fabric, suggesting they could be made from leftover fabric from pattern cutting or dead fabric that could have otherwise gone to waste.
20 per cent from each sale will be donated to the Burberry Foundation COVID-19 Community Fund that provides PPE and works with food banks and healthcare charities globally. The launch of the masks is the latest initiative from the label.
