Apart from drawing watch-lovers' eyeballs from across the planet, Watches and Wonders tends to pull in a fair number of celebrities as well. This year, the likes of Piaget brought in big entertainment names from Thailand and South Korea via actor Nattawin 'Apo' Wattanagitiphat and K-pop star Lee Jun-ho — though it was Hublot who stole the show with Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé, who was spotted at the brand's booth in Geneva.

Crafted from satin-finished and polished titanium, this 44mm smartwatch combines robust elegance with high-tech functionality. The Big Bang MP-11 Water Blue Sapphire is crafted entirely from a newly developed water-blue sapphire, making a significant addition to Hublot's impressive repertoire of innovative materials. The watch features a sculptural 7-barrel, manual-winding Hub9011 movement visible through the case. The movement beats at 4 Hz and consists of 270 components, all of which provide an impressive power reserve of two weeks.

The 45mm case, designed with Hublot’s iconic "One-Click" system for easy strap changes, showcases the depth and clarity of the water-blue sapphire. This material not only offers brilliance and durability but also sets a fresh and vibrant aesthetic tone. The dial, also in sapphire, allows an unobstructed view of the inner workings and the power reserve indicator, a testament to Hublot’s commitment to transparency in design and function. The Big Bang Integrated Time Only marks a sleek refinement within Hublot's iconic series, presenting an iconic design in a minimalist 38mm silhouette. This size embraces a universal appeal, aligning with vintage luxury aesthetics while maintaining a contemporary edge. The design showcases the Big Bang's signature robust case, functional bezel with six H-shaped screws, and an integrated bracelet, ensuring a seamless look and feel. This model is available in a variety of finishes including brushed titanium and Hublot’s distinctive King Gold, with options for either a polished black or a sunray-finished blue dial, which enhance the watch's visual appeal.

Under the hood, the Big Bang Integrated Time Only features the new HUB1115 self-winding movement that has been significantly upgraded for better performance, including an extended 48-hour power reserve. For those who appreciate the innovation of materials, the series extends into ceramic versions, with the "Black Magic" model fully decked in black ceramic and another in striking navy blue, linking back to Hublot’s classic nautical themes.

The Big Bang Unico Ice Bang is Hublot's latest online exclusive — a 100-example limited edition that encapsulates the essence of the original Big Bang model while introducing advanced materials and a refined aesthetic. This model is equipped with the HUB1280 Manufacture calibre, a self-winding flyback chronograph movement that boasts a 72-hour power reserve. The Ice Bang maintains the strong, recognizable lines of its predecessors but surprises with new nuances upon closer inspection. Its case and case back are crafted from black micro-blasted and polished ceramic, offering lightweight, hypoallergenic, and highly durable qualities. The bezel is made from satin-finished and polished tungsten, contrasting elegantly with the black ceramic.

True to Hublot's philosophy of the "Art of Fusion," this watch exemplifies the harmonious blending of different materials. It features a matte black dial that perfectly showcases the column wheel and calendar disc, enhancing its sophisticated functionality. The watch is offered with two interchangeable straps, incorporating Hublot’s patented One Click system: one in Velcro mesh with a ceramic buckle for a sporty look, and another in striated black rubber for a classic aesthetic.
