K-pop fans have emerged as heroes after  amid Black Lives Matter protests across the country, and after spamming #whitelivesmatter and #bluelivesmatter on Twitter and Instagram with fancams and other memes.

On June 3, hashtags like #whitelivesmatter, #whiteoutwednesday, #bluelivesmatter were all trending for at least on Twitter. The fans spammed the hashtags with all content of Korean pop stars.
