The engineers at the British luxury carmaker’s R&D offices have been working for close to half a decade to come up with this maiden Rolls-Royce SUV, which was unveiled last month. Named after the biggest flawless diamond found in Africa, the Cullinan runs on a 6.75-litre, twin-turbocharged V12 (570 bhp and 850 Nm) and slots into the space between the Ghost and the Phantom. EXPECTED PRICE: Rs 5 CRORE.
One of the most expensive cars on sale in India, the Bentley Mulsanne operates in the Rolls-Royce stratosphere. This particular set of wheels has been tailor-made to offer an amalgam of high refinement, performance and luxury. The standard variant is powered by a 6.75-litre V8 mill that churns out 505 bhp and an unbelievable 1040 Nm of torque, when mated to an eight-speed automatic ZF transmission. It can do a 100 kph sprint from a dead halt in 5.1 seconds, and has a top speed of 296 kph. PRICE: `6.35 – `7.71 CRORE.
FERRARI 812 SUPERFAST
The Ferrari Superfast is, well, super fast. Ferrari claims a 0-100 kph time of a scant 2.9 seconds, and a top speed of 340 kph. The latest in a long line of front-engined, rear-wheel drive V12 Ferrari GTs, the 812 Superfast is a replacement for the F12 Berlinetta. A 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 petrol engine beats at the heart of the supercar, to produce around 800 bhp of power. It’s also the most expensive supercar in the country right now. PRICE: `5.2 CRORE.

Powering the luxury sedan is a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine, which, along with two electric motors, churns out a combined output of 350 bhp. Power is transmitted via a 10-speed automatic transmission, to shove the car from 0-100 kph in 5.2 seconds.
