The current darling of the fashion world, HH Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur walked for Dolce&Gabbana during the Milan Men’s Fashion Week and was also a special guest at the Giorgio Armani SS19 show. The young royal, fondly called Pacho, made it to the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia List this year for his efforts in reviving the sport of Polo in the country.

Pacho had become interested in the game early and was even the Captain of the Indian side which competed against England for the first time in six decades. He has also escorted Ava Phillippe at the Le Bal des Débutante in Paris. The 19-year-old is currently a student of Liberal Arts at New York University.

As dashing as Singh may be, he is not the first royal in recent times to have caught the eye of the modelling and entertainment world.

The youngest scion of the Bolangir royal family of Odisha, Arkesh Singh Deo is more than easy of the eyes. Deo attended the Doon School in Dehradun and used to be a regular on the Delhi party circuit earlier. He had even dabbled in modelling and The Times of India reports that he had also attended Anupam Kher’s acting school in Mumbai. Now, Deo is a leader of the Biju Janata Dal political party.
