Karan Singh Grover, a superstar on Indian television, couldn’t make it as big when he tried his luck on 70mm. The silver lining for him though shone bright in the form of his wife Bipasha Basu, who was a co-star on the sets of his first tryst with Bollywood, Alone.

And in the day and age where success is judged by the number of followers you have on Instagram, it doesn’t take an expert to recognise who the more ‘successful’ partner is in this relationship. Defying the status quo where the primary bread-earner is the ‘man of the house,’ this couple keeps giving us relationship goals everytime we see them.

Kudos to KGS and these other men who, unlike the majority of the male human species, are comfortable with the success of their wives.

Before Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai was the original international diva from India. With a ‘Bachchan’ suffix added to her name, the former Miss World still continues to prove that she is more than a pretty face with her more recent role like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Of course Junior B could never match that, but he remains a supportive and cure husband every woman would like by her side.

The man known for his rather outspoken Twitter handle ventured into direction, thanks to his choreographer-turned-director wife Farah Khan, but failed to emulate her success. But he continues to play the role of a sensitive  husband and father to triplets.

Dr Sriram Nene

The dhak dhak girl, now a mother of two, broke millions of hearts when she got married to her US-based husband, Dr Sriram Nene. The couple moved back to India after a few years, apparently because of Madhuri’s high demand in the industry. Still recognised in the media as Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr Nene is anything but an uncomfortable husband.

Anil Thadani

Why it was a pretty pathbreaking decision back in the day for the film distributor to marry Raveena Tandon was because the fierce and independent actress had decided to adopt two girls even before marriage. Although successful in his own right, Thadani knows how to live with the star status of his other half in this partnership.
