Christian Bale Might Return As Batman In The New Flash Movie, But On One Condition
The last time we got to see Christian Bale in the Batman suit was 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises. Since then, we’ve seen Ben Affleck don the suit in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, as well as Justice League in 2017. in 2020, Robert Pattinson took the reins, but in a weird turn of events, Christian Bale might be returning to the DC Cinematic Universe in the Batman avatar.
According to a report by We Got This Covered, Warner Bros wants Bale to return as Bruce Wayne and his crime-fighting alter-ego Batman in the upcoming movie The Flash starring Ezra Miller.
We do understand why Warner Bros might be trying hard to get Bale onboard. In case you were unaware, the studio confirmed earlier this that former Batmen Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will also appear in the Flash film. So, it makes sense why Warner Bros might push for this.
But, the report mentions that Bale has put one condition on the table. He will only reportedly take up the role after he gets Christopher Nolan’s approval.
It’s all up to Nolan now, if he gives the green light, we could get to witness two great Batmen like Keaton and Bale along with an okay-ish Ben Affelck’s Batman, all appear together in one movie. We can’t wait.
