Bollywood flops need to be honoured – and Ghanta Awards do just that

ghanta-awards-2014Bollywood’s best took a lot of awards home. Films like Haider earned rave reviews while nobody could stop admiring Kangana Ranaut’s role in Queen. But what happened to those films that bombed the first day itself? Well, they #DeserveAGhanta. In the past we have seen, Sonam Kapoor and Riteish Dekhmukh being present to receive their awards, we are looking forward to seeing who turns up this time.

Hosted by the East India Comedy team, led by Sorabh Pant, the awards ceremony which was held on the 8th of March opened the evening to a sold out show and a great audience. An action packed evening heard loud clapping and saw highly enthusiastic people on stage as well as off it. For those who missed it, here is your second chance at enjoying this evening, for they will return on 4th April at St.Andrews Auditorium.

Worst Actor:
Ajay Devgn for Acton Jackson, Saif Ali Khan/Ram Kapoor/Riteish Deshmukh for Humshakals and Akshay Kumar for Entertainment

Worst Actress:
Bipasha Basu for Humshakals/Creature 3D, Sonakshi Sinha for Holiday/Action Jackson and Sunny Leone for Ragini MMS 2

Worst Song:
Photocopy from Jai Ho, Ice-cream khaungi from The Xpose and Caller tune from Humshakals

WTF Was That:
SRK learning to dance from a bar dancer in Happy New Year, Jackie Bhagnani ‘inheriting’ the PMship in Youngistaan and Ajay Devgn’s genitals being a good luck charm in Action Jackson
