Man, 2020 is really the shittiest year that’s happened in a while. First, the Australian bushfires and then the novel coronavirus that has killed more than 100,000 people worldwide and now, we come to know that the FRIENDS reunion special won’t be here as soon as we’d hoped.
According to media reports, the FRIENDS reunion special was going to be a part of the May launch of the new HBO Max streaming service but the company said on Friday that no taping was done before the COVID-19 crisis hit.
The 10-season long, Emmy Award-winning show which starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer is by far, one of the most popular shows to have ever been created and the characters have become household names.
The special reunion episode was supposed to be shot Burbank, California, sound stage where the series taped.
