David Fincher To Direct An Episode Of ‘Love, Death & Robots Volume 3’
We’re getting 9 episodes this time around
Ahead of its release on May 20, Netflix has dropped the trailer for the third volume of Love, Death + Robots. The critically-acclaimed animated anthology series will feature nine episodes this time around and will see the return of the three robots.
Ever since its premiere back in 2019, the animated series has garnered a lot of attention, including twelve Emmy nominations and eleven wins! However, with names like David Fincher, Tim Miller (Deadpool), Simon Otto (How to Train Your Dragon) and Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2), that should hardly come as a surprise.
What should be more interesting though is whether volume 3 will be able to reach the same critical heights as season 1, which contains some of the best episodes of the series like Zima Blue and Beyond The Aquila Rift.
David Fincher will be directing one of the episodes called “Bad Travelling” in Volume 3, which will be written by the writer of Se7en, Andrew Kevin Walker. The new volume will also see a story from fantasy writer Joe Abercrombie along with Carlos Stevens (The Alchemist’s Letter).

Knowing Netflix just canceled several animation projects and fired a lot of animators makes me upset 😑.
I am so excited for Love, Death, and Robots Season 3!
