TVF’s ‘Pitchers’ Releases S2 Trailer And It’s Trending For A Weird Reason

The question remains: where is Jitu?

Love it or hate it, but you certainly cannot ignore TVF’s Pitchers!

And well, the wait is finally over as the much-talked-about season 2 of Pitchers is slated for release on December 23 after a gap of six long years. A trailer, which was recently released, got tongues wagging about multiple things. For those wanting a context, the last season centered on 4 friends who began their own firm after quitting their jobs. This season runs along a similar narrative, with the only difference being 3 friends involved this time around, managing a team of twenty employees. While the hunt for an investor begins again, there’s only one thing that is assured: it’s going to be a roller-coaster ride!

Needless to say, Twitterati wasted no time in dropping epic comments on the trailer, and here’s a volley of them that caught our attention:

Pitchers is directed by Vaibhav Bundhoo, and the show features actors like Naveen Kasturia, Abhay Mahajan, and Arunabh Kumar in key roles. The cast also includes Ridhi Dogra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sikandar Kher, and Gopal Dutt.

Actor Abhishek Banerjee makes a comeback from last season and believes fans can expect a couple of surprises ahead. “No matter how many roles I essayed after it, fans kept asking me about the return of Pitchers so here we are finally with the trailer of S2. While the boys have graduated from beer to whisky and from founding a start-up to growing the start-up, the essence of Pitchers remains the same — it is still the story of relatable characters with real problems, big dreams, and bigger determination to make it work,” says Banerjee.

On the other hand actress, Dogra — a new entrant on the show– is super excited to be a part of the popular franchise. “As an actor, I couldn’t wait to hop onto the bandwagon of the fan-favorite franchise, Pitchers as it has received so much love and admiration over the years. At the core of it, it’s a story of the start-up life, but what pulled me to be a part of it was that it says so much about aspirations, dreams, and hope, which is not restricted to those in the start-up world but anyone who dreams and wants to achieve them. I’m thrilled to be a part of that franchise as my part in the show connects the dreams of these friends in the big bad world of capitalism,” she signs off.
