March 8 is celebrated every year as International Women’s Day. While this is something we should never forget, the day is marked to remember the contribution women make towards the society and also to raise awareness about the issues plaguing them.
Our Bollywood actresses (and actors like Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan) have been quite vocal about their support for women empowerment. They serve as role models for each one of us that it’s possible to break the glass ceiling, and fight for what’s rightfully yours.
Let’s look at what these women are sharing on their Instagram and Twitter handles.
