Hollywood’s finest might be soaring high on the movie career front, but many of them have now veered their focus on venturing into different businesses as well. We often see celebrities license their names for things like fragrances, clothing lines, and what not. While some stars get into the basics, others make it a priority to invest in some random, surprising secondary gigs. Just this week, for instance, Kim Kardashian expanded her business to greeting cards. The business mogul already has several businesses running successfully, but it seems like she and her sister are just ready to slap their faces on anything from cupcakes to adult diapers proudly.

But the Kar-Jenners are not alone in this. From Jaden Smith to Snoop Dogg, many celebrities have invested in weird businesses before, and most of them came as unexpected surprised for their fans. Listing down some of the same, here are five stars and the weird businesses they own.

Jaden Smith’s Just Water

Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, is the coolest teen in Hollywood. He raps, he acts, and he also wants you to upgrade your water. The star owns a boxed water operation named “Just Water”. The economical, eco-friendly water brand is priced at about $.99 and can be easily bought from a Whole Foods store or other commercial distributors.

Snoop Dogg’s Merry Jane

Snoop Dogg’s association with marijuana comes as no surprise. He owns several businesses including a medical and recreational-marijuana product business named Leafs by Snoop. An unexpected venture that he invested in was the media company called Merry Jane. He is the founder of the company, and we think the rapper has finally discovered the pot at the end of the rainbow with his entrepreneurial ventures.

Akon’s Diamond Mine

The internationally-popular rapper, Akon has always been about that bling. He is the owner of a diamond mine in South Africa and only wears diamonds that only come from his mine. When asked how he acquired the land, Akon replied, “‘It’s real complicated. You can just know that I own it.”

Dolly Parton’s Dollywood

We did not expect any less from Dolly Parton. The country singer owns a theme park named Dollywood. She owns this theme park along with Herschend Family Entertainment in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The theme park boasts welcoming staff, live music performances, delightful southern food, and thrill rides.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop

Gwyneth Paltrow’s alternative wellness company has often become the talk of the town. From goop-branded beauty products and fashion collaborations to high-class yurts and expensive sex toys, Paltrow’s lifestyle brand has it all. A candle called “This Smells Like My Vagina” was also launched by Goop for $75, and it received a lot of backlash from the consumers.
