The year is 1993. You’re watching a movie and you aren’t sure if you should keep your eyes open or shut. You’re terrified but also curious to see how things go when cloned dinosaurs wreak havoc on the island of Isla Nublar. The movie, as you may have guessed, is Jurassic Park, and we had never seen anything like it before.

Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) pulled off a successful mission in protecting those at the park, and it’s been a while since we saw the team on screen. Fret not; as 29 years later, the trio has reprised their roles for the next installment of the Jurassic franchise, titled Jurassic World: Dominion.

jurassic park 1993

Jurassic World: Dominion is the third (and final) film of the Jurassic World series and the sixth installment of the ‘Jurassic Park’ franchise. Colin Trevorrow returns to helm the project.

Where The Dinos At?

Dominion takes place four years after 2018’s Fallen Kingdom where the ending saw dinosaurs being let free into the wild. Since then they’ve lived and co-existed with humans, and as Ellie says in the trailer: “We created an ecological disaster.” What follows is sure to blow our minds when we watch it on the big screen.

What About Owen and Claire?

In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, we saw Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) go to great lengths to save the creatures from extinction. According to the director, Dominion will see the OGs from the 1993 movie have equal screen time as Pratt and Howard. “They’re major characters from start to finish,” Trevorrow said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

The stellar cast will be joined by other popular names including DeWanda Wise, Omar Sy, Daniella Pineda, Scott Haze, BD Wong and more.

JURASSIC WORLD

Jurassic World: Dominion is from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. Trevorrow, Steven Spielberg and Alexandra Derbyshire are the executive producers, with Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley as producers.

“Bigger. Why Do They Always Have To Go Bigger?”

Would we have it any other way? With Jurassic World: Dominion, Trevorrow seems to have pushed all boundaries. The stunning visuals, mindblowing VFX, and exciting cast of actors and dinosaurs, all promise a cinematic experience that will find fans across generations.

If Twitter is to be believed, fans of the franchise are experiencing a whole lot of emotions about the movie:
