New Trailer For Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Mili’ Is Giving Fans Goosebumps

Janhvi Kapoor’s Mili which is a remake of Malayalam film Helen is set to release on November 4

After Goodluck Jerry, actress Janhvi Kapoor is back again but this time with a spine-chilling tale. Her upcoming film Mili’s trailer was released recently and fans are warming up to this freezing story. Scheduled to release on November 4, 2022, Mili is a survival thriller film. Directed by Mathukutty Xavier and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film also stars actors like Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa in key roles.

The trailer that was released a few hours ago is getting a decent response. Here is what people are saying:

Janhvi Kapoor’s Mili is a remake of the Malayalam movie Helen and this would be the first time that Kapoor would be seen in a role like this. During the launch of the trailer in Mumbai, she said that this is what a turn in the career looks like.

She said, “Mili has been one of the most challenging roles of my career and I’m very excited! I’m grateful to Mathukutty sir, who brought out the very best in me on screen. We shot in -10 degrees and fell ill but it was all so gratifying. I just want to make my parents proud.”

During this occasion, Janhvi’s father Boney Kapoor, who is also the producer of the movie was also present. “This is my first collaboration with Janhvi as a producer and she has performed phenomenally well. The entire team has worked immensely hard and Janhvi has managed to create a niche for herself after Dhadak and Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl. She carries Sridevi’s DNA and has grown so much as an actor. A.R. Rahman has aced the music Mathukutty has brought out the best in Sunny and Manoj as well,” he said.

This is Kapoor’s first time collaborating with director Mathukutty and he is equally excited about this collaboration. He said, “This film will be high on emotions, keeping the audiences on the edge of their seat with its brilliant narrative. It’s been a privilege to collaborate with Boney Sir and Janhvi on the film. I look forward to the next coming days. There was no ice-breaking needed with Janhvi.”
