Rashmika Mandanna has unveiled her character’s first look from the upcoming Allu Arjun film Pushpa. 

Pushpa, co-starring Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, unveiled the first-look poster of Mandanna’s character in the movie. Sharing the poster on social media platforms, the makers revealed that she will be playing the role of Srivalli. The poster features the disheartened actress, who appears to be dressing up with a saree and flowers kept next to her on a plate.

The film is scheduled to hit the movie screens on Christmas 2021, which is slated to release in two parts. First installement is titled as Pushpa: The Rise. The first-look posters and singles from the film featuring Arjun have gone viral on social media, gaining positive responses from the public. The film also marks Malayalam actor Faasil’s first Telugu film. He will be seen as the antagonist in the film. The plot revolves around red sandalwood smuggling. The film will be released in five languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Mandanna is all set to mark her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu. But even before she could entertain her fans with her first Hindi film, the actress signed another Bollywood film starring Amitabh Bachchan. Titled Goodbye, the shooting for the film started a few months back.

In a recent interview with a leading publication, the south actress said, “It has been amazing shooting with him. When you shoot for a long time, you gel with the other actors really well. It’s this blend, which gives performances that are really fun. I’ve been grateful enough to be doing that. We give out performances, and when people see your comfort, the director and everyone, they’re happy. It has been crazy.”

Goodbye boasts of an ensemble cast including names like Neena Gupta and Pavail Gulati. The team has been extensively shooting for the film in Mumbai and a picture of Bachchan from the sets of the film had earlier leaked online. The picture was shared online by a fan account of Mandanna’s. It showed Bachchan and the actress in the same frame. The actor was seen wearing a pink shirt paired with a dark green-coloured half-jacket, Mandanna could be seen opting for a grey top.
