Are Salman Khan And Katrina Kaif Back Together Or Is It Just A Publicity Gimmick?
Katrina Kaif recently posted a cryptic photo on her Instagram page, with an even more cryptic message that read, ‘#Drama …….the calm before the storm’.
The photo was posted 18 hours ago (at the time of writing this article), very close to the release of the Tiger Zinda Hai poster.
The look on Katrina’s face is sultry to put it mildly, and we’re wondering what she is trying to do. Obviously, the legions of Salman fans will think that they are back together, and it’s clear from the Instagram comments. A majority of people have complimented with messages like ‘Awesome couple’ and some have even asked the two of them to get married.
After breaking up with Salman, Katrina started going out with Ranbir Kapoor. They too have broken up recently.
On Salman’s part, he was reported to be dating Iulia Vantur. But after Ranbir’s breakup with Katrina, Salman became really concerned about Katrina during the shooting of Tiger Zinda Hai. “Salman has been showing more than a passing interest in Katrina’s career and life, ever since she broke up with Ranbir Kapoor. During the shooting of Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman and Katrina got really close again. We don’t know how close, but close enough to rattle Iulia, who wanted to fly out to Abu Dhabi where Salman was shooting. But she was not allowed to…,” a source close to Salman told Deccan Chronicle. Iulia and Salman never came out in the open and declared their relationship, but they were spotted attending events like Baba Siddiqui’s iftaar party together.
With this photo posted near the release of Tiger Zinda Hai, we wonder whether it could be a publicity gimmick or not. For sure, we are saying this on suspicion alone, since a lot of stars like to stir up controversies near the release of the film so that they can create the requisite excitement and buzz.
In an interview with Filmfare, Katrina shared an adorable story about the early days between her and Salman. “I was to be a part of the movie Saaya. Anurag Basu was the director, John Abraham was the hero and I was cast in the film. I was called one night for a shot. It was a silent shot, that too I was playing a ghost. It was a passing shot. After shooting for two days, I was told I am chucked out. When I left the room, I started crying, I was bawling my eyes out. Sometime in the day, I met Salman and I’m weeping, and he’s just laughing. I started to think he’s so mean. I’m thinking my career is over and I’ve been chucked out from my first film and it’s the end of my life and he’s laughing? He finally gave in and calmed me down saying, you don’t understand, this doesn’t mean anything. I know where you’re going to go from here, these things happen, I don’t have an answer but these things happen, you’ll see. Just keep your focus and work hard,” she said.
We can only wonder what happens. Will they declare their patch up sometime later?
