The lovebirds had met each other on the sets of Ye Maaya Chesave in 2009. The two shared a great camaraderie and began dating each other only in 2014. The two were shooting for Autonagar Surya, when they fell in love with each other. Post that the couple was often spotted going for outings together. The actress confirmed her relationship with Chaitanya two years into the relationship.
Soon in 2017, tied the knot in Goa. Their marriage comes to an end after four long years of being together. Rumours about their separation began when The Family Man actress dropped Chaitanya’s surname, Akkineni, from her surname on social media handles. The two remained tight-lipped about the troubled relationship till now.
Ahead of announcing the split, Samantha Akkineni had also posted a cryptic Instagram post that has grabbed her fans and followers’ attention. She shared a quote that reminded her of what her mother use to tell her. “When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won.
