Gamers of the world, rejoice. In 2016, their lives will literally change – thanks to Sony.
Sony Computer Entertainment will soon be launching Project Morpheus – a virtual reality handset which will completely change the future of gaming. This handset is being designed to be fully functional with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Worldwide Studios, said, “(Project Morpheus) delivers an experience that lives up to our vision and ignites the passion of gamers.”
Sony had previously revealed a version of the handset in 2014 which they claimed wasn’t ready to be launched since it started showing a few errors. However, this new version has the noteworthy improvement of changing to an OLED display with an amazing refresh rate. Back in 2014, Yoshida had called this innovation as “the next innovation from PlayStation that will [shape] the future of games.”
So wait till you get lost in the world of Grand Theft Auto or Call Of Duty.
