Beer lovers, this one’s for you guys. A startup in New Delhi has launched two versions of India’s first ever craft beer. Cerana Beverages recently unveiled Bira 91 and Bira 91 Blonde, which are available in draught (tap) and in bottle. Bira 91 is the usual wheat beer with low bitterness and a hint of spicy citrus with a soft finish. Because of its fine natural ingredients, this makes for a refreshing all-day beer. Next time you are out for a nooner or late brunch, this is the beer that should be on your table. On the other hand, Bira 91 Blonde is extra hoppy craft lager with floral aromas and a sturdy malt flavour.
Vikram Achanta, co-founder and CEO of Tulleeho.com, said, “Bira 91 is one of the most exciting products to hit the Indian market. The beer is an excellent brew, competing with the best in the world – something that would sit very well in a bar even in a New York, as much as it does in Mumbai. I feel that Bira 91 has the potential to be the first global brand with an Indian identity in the beer space.”
Finally, here’s a beer we can call your own. Try out Bira 91 today and let us know what you think @mansworldindia
