From Yoga being performed at 15,000 feet above ground to an employee getting punished with a salary cut for taking his lunch break three minutes early, we bring you the most WTF news we’ve come across in the past few days.
A Japanese employee had been taking his lunch break three minutes early for quite some time and this did not bode well with his employers. Over a span of over seven months, the employee had taken his lunch breaks early 26 times, a city spokesperson told AFP.
“The lunch break is from noon to 1 pm. He left his desk before the break,” the spokesman said. The man’s punishment? A deduction of half a day’s pay from his salary.

This piece of news falls under ‘WTF news’ simply because it is so unimaginably daring. ANI reports that two Air Force officers jumped out of an aeroplane and performed Yoga postures 15,000 feet above the ground.
The daring duo, Wing Commanders KBS Sanyal and Gajanand Yadav performed the Vayu Namaskar and Vayu Padmasan, reports Indiatimes.

Another news related to Yoga – former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda had his own yoga celebration while he was on his bed at home. Photos on social media showed Gowda performing various asanas on his bed while the media happily clicked away. We must say that we are absolutely floored by the 86-year-old’s poses and can only hope to be able to do such asanas when we reach his age.
This piece of WTF news has us going more WOW than WTF. Jucilene Marinho was born with a rare congenital condition called Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH), which meant that she didn’t have a vagina – until now. Using cutting edge technology and in a big win for medicinal research, doctors used the skin of the Tilapia fish to create a vagina for her. Marinho, who couldn’t experience sexual intercourse before, can now enjoy the act. “At first I was very scared to do it because I thought it would hurt and I was worried it might damage the opening. But it was a wonderful moment because everything worked perfectly. There was no pain just a great deal of pleasure and satisfaction,” she said, according to The Sun.
