The Indo-Canadian YouTube star Lilly Singh has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Who wouldn’t be, with around 11.9 million subscribers, right?
And it turns out that she can’t stop getting any cooler.
UNICEF on Saturday appointed Lilly Singh as its newest Global Goodwill Ambassador. Lilly was in New Delhi to support UNICEF’s Youth4Change initiative, a programme for the youth that brings them together to support their peers and communities in taking action on issues such as health, hygiene, child labour and gender equality.

She also mentioned how she would come up with a few videos in Hindi and add Hindi subtitles in her English videos to increase the reach of her vlogs and channel.
So we swiped through her Instagram account to unearth some gems for you guys. Check out these pictures from her trip to Madhya Pradesh where she is seen interacting with the children.

These kids from Madhya Pradesh, India were so excited to say hi to you. It was an honour to visit their school and learn about their lives. Although we are from different places and experience different challenges, this picture symbolizes something very universal: humanity. Humans have a natural desire to connect with one another. And with our privilege, it is not only our job to connect but to also take ownership in the entire human experience. It’s our job to be global citizens who are aware of all the wonderful and heart wrenching things happening around the world. Admittedly there isn’t always an immediate solution to world problems. Sometimes the solution is simply to connect and be a part of the conversation. That’s how progress is made. So say hello back to your brothers and sisters👋🏽🙏🏽❤ @unicef
