Oscar nominee, Jake Gyllenhaal has finally announced that he is going to be a part of Spider-Man’s newest sequel, Spider-Man’s: Far From Home’s. The Brokeback Mountain actor is all set to play Marvel’s newest villain, Mysterio.
The 37-year old actor, Gyllenhaal who has recently joined Instagram, shared the news in his very first post. In the video, the actor is seen reading Spider-Man comics, The Return of the Man Called Mysterio.

The actor’s Marvel co-star, Mark Ruffalo showed his enthusiasm by commenting on Gyllenhaal’s post. And, Zendaya too seemed impressed with this discovery.
Previously, Mysterio has been voiced over, but Gyllenhaal is set to be the first actor to play portray this character.
And, who better to play the wicked villain than Gyllenhaal himself?
