Ranbir Kapoor - New AD Campaign Creative [1600x1200]Shah Rukh Khan has been TAG Heuer’s brand ambassador in India for more than a decade. But now he has company in terms of  a rival from Bollywood. At a much hyped event at Delhi’s Buddha International Circuit in New Delhi yesterday, the Swiss luxury watchmaker introduced Ranbir Kapoor  as its new face. Talking to reporters, the actor claimed  he was excited to be a part of the brand and its new campaign ‘Don’t Crack Under Pressure’. “I can closely relate to this motto as it focuses on how you deal with life, how you approach your work and in the end, what you deliver”, he said.

TAG Heuer is best known for pushing boundaries and delivering ground breaking innovations. ‘Don’t Crack Under Pressure’, it says, is not just a claim, but the truth about  its watches and chronographs. The brand’s deep connect with motorsport was seen on the circuit, which was festooned with TAG Heuer banners, #DontCrackUnderPressure graffiti, gravity defying stunts by professional drivers on the racetrack and of course, a high-energy performance by the cheerleaders. But the highlight of the evening was Ranbir’s airbone arrival on the racetrack in a paramotor.

The Kapoor lad joins a host of international celebrities as the brand’s ambassadors like Cristiano Ronaldo, Maria Sharapova, Cameron Diaz and of course, Shah Rukh Khan.
