Tod’s group has appointed Walter Chiapponi as the Creative Director of men’s and women’s collections of the brand. Diego Della Valle, President of Tod’s Group, states: “Walter Chiapponi is a talented Italian creative who knows and is able to combine Tod’s Italian lifestyle with a touch of modernity, without ever losing sight of the high quality and craftsmanship that represents the brand’s DNA. I welcome him and wish him well in his new role.”

 After studying at the European Institute of Design, Chiapponi debuted in the fashion world at the end of the 1990s. Having previously worked for brands such as Gucci, Valentino, Miu Miu, and Bottega Veneta, Chiapponi will be showcasing his first collection of Tod’s in Autumn/Winter 2020/21, available in stores from next Autumn.
