According to multiple reports, Twitter will release a new platform that will address the word-limit issue that has been a source of much discussion at the Twitter headquarters. The firm’s interim CEO Jack Dorsey, according to a report on recode.net, has been looking at ways to expand the platform’s user base, many of whom have often complained about Twitter’s restrictive word limit.

Twitter has been attempting to tweak its word limit, with several people requesting that links and user handles be excluded from the word count. The new platform will allow for long-form posts, much like Facebook.
