The Dutchman scored his second goal of the match just after the gap of three minutes, providing a comfortable lead for Barcelona. This doesn’t stop here, as De Jong, along with Lionel Messi, scored an incredible goal for the team. Athletic Bilbao was unable to score any till the last whistle, which gave Barcelona the victory that they were looking for in the final game of the tournament.

Messi, with the help of his two goals in the final match, took his tournament goal tally to 31. He has now scored more than 30 goals in all the seasons back-to-back. “Incredible final, Perfect game,” FC Barcelona tweeted after the match.
