India has reached the final of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship, which is considered a remarkable achievement. To celebrate this fantastic occasion, MPL, India’s jersey sponsor, has launched a limited edition fan jersey. The main objective of this was to commemorate Team India’s qualification to the test championship finals.

This is an excellent initiative by the company to increase fan engagement and create awareness about India’s feat up until now. MPL has decided that since it’s a limited edition jersey, only 250 units of this product will be given out at a very affordable price of Rs 4999. Every element of the jersey is perfectly designed for style, comfort, and performance. Modeled after the kit worn by players on the field, it is crafted using the same jacquard fabric. The abrasion-resistant material has the right amount of strength and stretchability to let one move freely and retains its shape and colour for a durable look. Thanks to its fast-drying capability, it cuts down on body odour for superior, distraction-free comfort.

The jersey will be available on the MPL app from 14th June onwards. It is being assumed that the jersey will get sold out within the first hour itself, indicating the level of craziness the country has for cricket and how proud they are of the team.  This jersey hasn’t been worn by any of the players yet, but they might soon just before or during the release, as per reports.

MPL(Mobile Premier League) is the jersey sponsor for Team India and sells the jersey on their website and other Team India merchandise at low prices and discounts. MPL is India’s largest gaming and Esports application and has a contract with the BCCI (Board of Cricket Council of India) till December 2023. It remains to be seen how this limited edition jersey sale goes and how does Team India fare at the World Test Championship finals.
