Brooks Brothers Spring/Summer 2022 Collection Reinvents The Island Life
The brand has taken inspiration from two distinct resort destinations: the laid-back New England style of Nantucket, and the vibrant sophistication of Palm Beach
The transitional season is here, and it’s time to upgrade your wardrobe with new looks. As the first American brand to offer ready-to-wear clothes, Brooks Brothers’ new Spring/Summer Collection 2022 has all-new sporty looks that you cannot afford to miss.
For this collection, the brand has taken inspiration from two distinct resort destinations: the laid-back New England style of Nantucket, and the vibrant sophistication of Palm Beach. The brand has upheld the same values that produced the iconic styles, including seersucker, madras, argyle, non-iron shirt, and the original button-down collar. Harnessing the vast archives, the brand brings back its brand codes with modern updates to it, such as the original 1930s madras and the iconic button-down shirt featuring a fuller cut in oxford fabric or bold Bengal stripes. The ‘Fun’ shirt, yet another Brooks Brothers icon, is shown in a multitude of new patterns.
Michael Bastian describes the vision of the collection, “A big part of my vision for Brooks Brothers is to bring back sportswear and the iconic items that our fans have missed in recent years. Some naturally think of Brooks Brothers as a go-to for their suits, ties, and dress shirts, but you will find amazing sportswear pieces if you look back in our archives — we are really bringing these to the forefront.”
Whether you have plans with your friends to play a game of tennis or just want to rock a sporty outfit, this collection will do. A tennis-themed capsule collection and a distinctive racquet print on everything from pants to polos. While embroidered chipmunks playing a match adorn a reversible tennis skirt. The summer collection takes on vibrant citrus hues and fresh patterns with polished combinations that evoke days spent poolside with late-afternoon card games. The formal wear collection includes elevated madras, seersucker, and linen styles with unique, unexpected details rendered in refined tailoring. Similarly, the collection also includes graphic prints and white sequins featured on beautiful dresses, which can be worn between day and night.
The collection is available to shop in stores and on online platforms.
