Burberry is hosting its September runway show in British outdoors.

The brand announced that its Spring/Summer 2021 collection will be shown in a live event on September 17. The show is set to be showcased digitally and can be accessed globally. It is the first brand to announce its plan for the upcoming London Fashion Week.

Creative director Riccardo Tisci said, “As humans, we have always had a deep affinity to nature. We have had to respect and rely upon its power for our very existence, whilst marvelling and revelling in its extraordinary beauty. Especially recently, we have all yearned to reconnect again and for this show, I wanted to celebrate these feelings by bringing our community together in a creative experience that takes place within the beautiful, natural landscape of Britain.”

Tisci is one of the few designers with confirm plans for the upcoming September schedule. Other luxury labels such as Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Saint Laurent and more have already made the announcements of skipping the upcoming fashion calendar.
