With the 5-day fashion extravaganza coming to an end, we reminisce about everything that caught our attention this fashion season. From opening menswear with Reebok x Chola’s collaboration to Kunal Rawal’s Rousing collection, the designers put forth their best this season. Here are the menswear designers whose collections we absolutely loved. Scroll away.

Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2020 menswear opened with the collaboration of Reebok x Chola, who came together for an energetic showcase of collection. Showstopper Aditya Roy Kapoor launched Reebok’s Zig Kinetica shoe which is a blend of sleek style and sports tech. Chola’s warrior themed collection featured loose silhouettes, tie-dyes and tribal prints which were presented in a unique way on the ramp.

Samant Chauhan’s collection opened with models strutting down the runway in clean-cut jackets paired with stripes and checks, crossbody bags and duffle bags along with heavy layering. Showstopper Shikhar Dhawan sported a combination of a kurta and a textured coat. The colour palettes were overall influenced by black and white, grey hues and platinum.

Amaare Couture’s Spring/Resort 2020 menswear collection featured pastel hues along with embellished detailing on kurtas. Show stopper Jim Sarbh walked in an intricately detailed kurta.

Kunal Anil Tanna’s Summer/Resort 2020 collection featured basic silhouettes with minimalistic layering. The collection featured everything from stripes and multi-coloured checkered jackets to crossbody bags. Show stopper Kunal Khemu closed the show with a textured blue jacket which gave out a perfect athleisure vibe.

Tisa Studio’s Spring/Resort 2020 menswear collection saw a number of sharp ensembles. The runway was filled with layered tie-dye printed kurtas, pastel jackets and embellished sherwanis. Show stopper Amit Sadh walked in a detailed white sherwani which will make a perfect outfit for summer weddings.

Kunal Rawal presented his SS’20 collection titled as Rousing on the final day of Lakmé Fashion Week. The collection is inspired by the heritage archives from the city and be seen in the form of Indian handlooms for the kurta over-shirts. Models walked the runway in designs featuring a mix of festive, street-chic, deconstructed garments.  Show stopper Vicky Kaushal brought a finale style end to the show.
