The Weeknd dons his red suit once again to be our Santa and gift us something right in time for the festive season. After collaborating with Bape on a previous capsule collection, the Canadian vocalist wants to keep the momentum going by ending the year with a second collab.
The collab will be part of the brand’s Bape Sta 20th Artist Model Series. The first drop sees the iconic Bape Sta delivered in black and white-based colorways, each bearing bright green accent hits and metal XO lace locks.

The collection is a commemorative drop to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the legendary Bape Sta, the Air Force 1 lookalike that took the streets by storm in 2000.
“As part of the BAPE STA 20th anniversary celebration, A BATHING APE is partnering up with various artists for the “BAPE STA 20TH ARTIST MODEL SERIES”. BAPE and The Weeknd’s label XO, once again come together to release a special BAPE STA for the streetwear brand’s artist collaboration. The BAPE® x XO BAPE STA is designed in patent leather with black/green coloring and white/green coloring and the XO logo subtlety placed on the heel of the BAPE STA. To top off the subtle details, a special XO lace lock charm was designed just for this collaboration,” Bape said in their statement.
