A while ago, PUBG Corp responded to the Indian government’s decision to ban the popular mobile gaming app along with more than 100 other apps with ties to Chinese companies.
“In light of recent developments, PUBG Corporation has made the decision to no longer authorize the PUBG Mobile franchise to Tencent Games in India,” the company said, in a statement.
“Moving forward, PUBG Corporation will take on all publishing responsibilities within the country. As the company explores ways to provide its own PUBG experience for India in the near future, it is committed to doing so by sustaining a localized and healthy gameplay environment for its fans,” it added.
PUBG Mobile Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG Mobile Lite were part of a list of apps banned by the government regarding security concerns that some apps were “stealing and surreptitiously transmitting users’ data in an unauthorized manner to servers which have locations outside India.”
This naturally gave rise to an alternative called FauG which was announced by actor Akshay Kumar as a made-in-India alternative to popular multiplayer shooting game.
Now, another alternative has turned up called PABJE (Player and Battle Jung Ends). Not only is the desi alternative created by an Indian developer, but its sheer resemblance to PUBG is also shocking.
