French football superstar Kylian Mbappé will be gracing EA Sports’ FIFA 2021 cover. This appearance makes Mbappé the second PSG footballer to appear on the cover after Neymar Jr. was seen alongside Cristiano Ronaldo on the on the Champions and Ultimate editions of FIFA 19.

While other athletes are usually featured on the other editions of the game, Mbappé will be featured on the standard cover as well as the Champions and Ultimate Editions of the game.

It would be an understatement if we say the Paris Saint-Germain superstar has made a name for himself in the football world. He is the youngest French player to score at a World Cup and became the second teenager behind Pelé to score in a World Cup final. Apart from that, Mbappé won his first World Cup as a teenager as well as the French league title with his club.

Mbappé shared his excitement of being on the cover in a statement:

“Being on the cover of FIFA is a dream come true. From my time at Bondy to Clairefontaine to the World Cup, this marks another big milestone. I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid and I am honoured to represent a whole new generation of footballers and be in the same group as many other amazing footballers who I now share this honour with.”
